"...In this dream, you and I were -- here, in this room. We were... we were on the floor". He recalled what he could see around himself in the dream - the sunlight coming from his left, a glimpse of the underside of the tabletop on his right. "Over there, I think", he said, pointing in front of the east-facing window.
"Show me where", Val said; his glow now surged in waves that, even in the daylight, tinged his face and hair with spirit blue. Adrien lifted himself from his seat and went to stand in the right place. Val followed him.
"And you said we were...".
"...on the floor", Adrien replied, his voice breaking into shudders of anticipation that he no longer had reason to conceal. To show how his dream was like, he seated himself, then reclined back and onto his forearms. Val kneeled at his side; he leaned slightly towards Adrien, his gaze dark and sweet. "And where was I?".
Adrien exhaled sharply. He looked up at Val's eyes, then away, then at him again. "You... You were on top of me", he finally said.
Val closed his eyes as a smile spread on his face; then, without a word, he crawled onto Adrien - in motions slow and graceful; holding his gaze into Adrien's eyes, Val placed his hands at either side of his head, and he set his legs around him. "Is this how it was?", he whispered.
